Well, hello there Socktober! Here at Knotty Habit we are all very excited for this coming month – as most of you know we really, really love our KYSO base and are looking forward to all the socks that will be created this month!
To that end, we have completely sold out our sock rulers! Mr. Knotty has been hard at work this week to finish some new ones that are now available in our shop. Gertruida from Ietsie Klein is also busy baking up a storm to create some new detailed stitch markers that will be in our shop in the coming weeks!
Knotty KYSO Klub Q3
We are gearing up to send out the Q3 boxes for the KYSO Klub mid-October – just in time to still get a bit of sock knitting in before the month ends… It’s not too late to sign up for Q4 for both klubs. And remember – if you buy any three boxes even in a combination between the two klubs you will get a special edition project bag as a gift!
Knotty Zipper Bags
You guys received our new Knotty Zipper Bags with open arms, and we cannot thank you enough for the amazing reception! The bags feature a charm specially made by Ietsie Klein just for these bags, so get it while it’s hot!
Markets are back in swing!
Knotty Habit is going places in the next two months! We will be at the following events over October and November:
30 October: Stoepmark at Coffee@18th
6 November: The Yarn Tree
13 November: The Little Yarn Croft
27 November: Stoepmark at Coffee@18th
If you are a bit far or aren’t ready to go to an in-person event, check out our Knotty Zoom Zoem sessions!
With this blog post we would like to highlight two very special people.
Anel from BlueSpoons provides all the cookies and sweet treats like the fantastic coconut ice from the Q3 Yarn Klub boxes. Did you know you can contact her directly for your fix and don’t have to spread out your yarn purchases over several skeins to get your hands on her baked goods? She also bakes fantastic cakes, provides sweet and savoury platters and currently orders for her Christmas Cakes are open. You can reach her on 081 515 5901 or through Facebook here.
We also want to highlight Jalene from Made by Jalene. This phenomenal lady hails from beautiful Bloemfontein and has a monthly podcast that you can listen to here, but also released her second pattern – the Legacy Cowl just last week. You can check out her patterns here including the stunning Heritage Blanket from the image below!
Please remember to submit your Kreations to us in order to stand a chance to win a Knotty Habit mug every month!
With lots of Knotty love,
The Knotty Team
